Timeline

In celebrating 30 years of ECC, we are proud to reflect on the journey that has shaped our organisation into the trusted leader in higher and further education job evaluation. Since we began in 1994, with a collaborative project involving 71 universities, ECC has continually evolved to meet the changing needs of the sector.

From the launch of the HERA job evaluation scheme to the development of FEDRA and our bespoke consultancy and training, each milestone has marked a step toward enhancing pay and grading transparency and equity across educational institutions in the UK and internationally. As we look back on three decades of progress, we are grateful for the partnerships, innovations, and shared commitment to excellence that have brought us here.
